Peter Anthony Holder’s Stuph File Podcast #0029
I’ve been insanely busy so while I did have a chance to listen to Peter Anthony Holder’s latest Stuph File Podcast, I didn’t get a chance to post it. I rather liked the interview he had with Dr. Saul Miller about Olympic-level athletes, how they handle the intense pressure they’re under, and how some of their anti-stress techniques can work for everyone in their normal lives. He mentioned some stuff about music and I can attest to having a certain playlist of music while practising can make quite a bit of difference.
I find I run faster when I listen to my favourite music. However, for me anyways, I find that the pace of the music also has something to do with it. I’m not a fan of the stuff, but I run faster than I normally do while listening to fast-speed techno even though I can’t stand the music. I noticed that I move to the beat so the faster the music, the faster I went. Great show as always.
