Video game geeks around the globe are excited as all the big names in video games are convening in Los Angeles for this year’s E3 conference. I’ll be doing play-by-play of the event live…from my house in Montreal. Actually, the only way you’d get me to go to E3 is by paying me a lot of money since I can watch pretty much everything through streaming video in an air conditioned room without having to deal with giant crowds.

I’ll be doing several podcasts in conjunction with WRGT Radio. There will be three live shows tomorrow. The first one will be at 3PM (for Microsoft), 6:30 (for EA), and 9:30PM (for Ubisoft). All times are Eastern. I’ll basically go each companies entire presentation and offer analysis without fanboy spin. Each show will last 45 mins. I’ll also be taking calls. On Tuesday, the plan is to do four shows. I’ll be recapping Nintendo at approximately 2PM (basically immediately after their show finishes and we’ll have to be finished by 3PM so I can catch the Sony show), I’ll be talking Sony at 5PM, and I’ll be looking at Microsoft’s second show where they’ll be displaying Natal/Kinect at 9PM. Then at 10PM, I’ll be joining some of the other guys at WRGT Radio for their roundtable show which will be dedicated to E3.

There are some other shows planned for Wednesday but I’ll have more details about them in the before the end of Tuesday. Madness Brewing Live will be broadcasting at 10PM and we’ll be talking two straight hours about E3, probably. Or maybe we’ll talking about dolphins.

As far as the print stuff and the non-live radio shows go, there will be two podcasts up some time tomorrow as well as a video game newsletter (although it will have little to do with E3 but it will be sixteen pages long). I’ll also have a video game newsletter up either late Wednesday or early Thursday which will be at least sixteen pages (possibly more) and focus heavily on E3. The video game hall of fame will still be a daily thing and there will be video game reviews published every so often throughout the week.

The show is live and you can call in at any time. However, it doesn’t mean I’ll answer immediately if you call in. I’ll try to get to your call as soon as possible but don’t be surprised if it rings several times. I see all incoming calls on my screen and I’ll try to get to them accordingly but if I’m in the middle of a segment or I’m talking to someone else, you’re going to have to wait your turn.
