Better late than never some might say but these podcasts are disgustingly late. Hopefully these will be the last items to ever be massively delayed on this site again. There will be a bunch of new content popping up on the site this weekend as the site once again returns to normal. Starting today, all the normal features are back and there will be daily updates (mostly) on a regular basis everyday.

I finally got my new audio equipment in so the podcast quality starting with the Day 2 Recap should be much better (at least when it’s me on the mic.). I re-recorded the Day 2 Recap so I could try out the new equipment. I still have some tinkering to do but it still sounds great. In fact, the quality is so good that I was able to finalize the recording at 64kbps instead of 128 to save on space and there doesn’t seem to be any degradation of quality. If you notice any problems or have some suggestions on how I can improve the audio, please leave me a comment below or send me an e-mail at

Thanks again to Chris Karpyszyn and Steve Wood for helping out with the Day 1 recap. If you’re interested in Chris’s ramblings, head over to his site at

  • Jamie Gore and Steve Wood
  • Not much to talk about so I talk about why there was nothing happening on the site last week
  • At least this week looks to be better as this podcast is out on time (for a change).
  • Kane & Lynch 2 didn’t do so well. Only one person that I know of is surprised.
  • I’m not expecting big things for Metroid: Other M either.

  • Jamie Gore and Chris Karpyszyn
  • A quarter of this podcast is me hating on Ubisoft…this is either because it really is a slow news week for games or I loathe the recent business direction of the company (probably a little of both)
  • Hopefully there will be some interesting stuff to talk about when Gamescom hits this week.
  • When I read that Bioshock Infinite was in the works, I was so underwhelmed that I felt that I needed to take a nap.
