  • It’s been awhile but this might be our best podcast ever (definitely the longest)
  • This is the podcast and post that Windows Live Writer doesn’t want you to see (seriously…how can a saved file that I was in the middle of working on just decide to vanish)
  • Activision and Bungie, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

Madness Brewing Weekly Video Game Newsletter #002

The second issue of the Weekly Video Game Newsletter is now up. It’s a bit heavy at 12 pages although that’s nothing compared to next week’s issue now that the site is back up and running as I’m working on several interesting articles. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to split next week’s issue in two and release another issue in later this week. It all depends on how busy I am.

Here’s what’s in this week’s issue:

Video Game Reviews

– Monopoly (PSP Mini)
– Muramasa: The Demon Blade (Wii)

Hall of Fame Inductees

– Duck Hunt (NES)

Other Features

– April Sales Figures
– Game of the Year Candidates from January 2010
– Results of First Round of Video Game Hall of Fame Voting
– Other Assorted Nonsense

  • Jamie Gore and Roberto Panetta (of OKConsole.com)
  • HUGE PODCAST! We talk about the big news coming out of the Nintendo Media Summit today. Looks like it will be a massive spring for Mario & Co.
  • First round of Hall of Fame results. Why wasn’t Ms. Pac-Man inducted? That may be one for Unsolved Mysteries.
  • Is Sony even trying anymore?
  • All our sales data comes from www.vgchartz.com
  • I’ve also included lists of the numbers from the previous week and the game releases from the previous week because they were not posted here last week.
