On today’s podcast, I go over the video game sales for the past two weeks (all sales figures come from www.vgchartz.com). I also go over the game releases from the past week. Even though we’re in the usual summer slump, it seems like there is something for everyone this week no matter what system/platform you favour (unless you play your games on a Sega Master System or Turbografx-16). Weekly Video Game Post–August 11, 2014

Due to an issue with my laptop, this week’s Video Game Podcast is in limbo. Hopefully, I’ll be able to access the raw file by tomorrow and edit it so I can publish it tomorrow. If not, I’ll just chalk it up to a loss. However, I still want to publish the sales figures from the last two weeks as well as list all the game releases from last week (all sales figures come from www.vgchartz.com). If I still have issues with the laptop, I will still be producing podcasts for the week but the sound quality will take a bit of a hit.

The last of the trio of test podcasts. After today, the schedule resumes as normal. On the show, I go over game sales, new releases, how I brought back the Expos and turned them into a powerhouse, and talk about two classic games for older Sony hardware.

Due to a near perfect storm of events, I wasn’t able to post the podcast on time despite it being finished for the last two days. It’s a pretty good podcast where Chris and I discuss the site’s top games of 2012. We also go on many tangents and go off topic quite a bit. Plus the usual bits about game sales and upcoming releases.

With all that’s been going on behind the scenes with me, the Video Game Newsletter will only resume publishing this coming Sunday or Monday. I apologize for any inconvenience but it’s been crazy hectic for me the last couple of days.

  • We both laugh at the fact that my 20-year-old Super Nintendo still works great but John is on his FIFTH Xbox 360
